Each can be considered either as a circular walk to/from a destination from Ham, or as alternative ways of covering a stage on a linked walk.

Stages can be linked by walking along the Kennet & Avon Canal towpath, or by train for Great Bedwyn, Hungerford, and Kintbury. Naturally, you are advised to check timetables and plan accordingly.

These walks offer a welcoming pub at the destination where you can rest and refresh before walking back to the Crown & anchor – or call a taxi!
